Fishing and Lake report Nov. 28th. 2011

Well after getting off to a slow start the fish finally decided to get turned on about the 27th. of November. This is almost a month later than usual for this lake. Why I honestly do not know. But two major things are different, one, the lake is lower than usual, 18% verses 70 to 90% and second the water temperature is now 77 degrees. This is about 14 degrees lower than last year at this time. All this combined leads me to feel we will have a very, very strong and short spawning season starting before the end of December and ending by the end of Febuary. So I would recomend if you are planning to come you need to book right now as two of these 8 weeks are already full.

NOT AT WORK!
We had some great fishermen and fisherwomen down in November. They had a great time with Leo, Ron and Benny They sent these pictures back for you to enjoy.

Fishing for the second half of November began to pick up a little with more fish being caught then the week before. The fish were in deep water and have not started into the spawning areas as of yet. The food supply is abundant due to the bait fish being concentrated. We did get some rain near the middle of the month but rainfall is well below normal for all of Central Mexico into Texas.
